Women on the front line

When I was saying to my 7-years old Zosia, that women can become whoever they want in life, that was not exactly what I had in mind.

• More than 20% of the Ukrainian army are women.
• 36.000 women are fighting on the front line.
• Women dress wounds of soldiers and civilians.
• Women sing a lullaby to the kids hiding underground.
• They are fearless in their fight for freedom.

“I’m still alive, the sun is shining, the birds are singing, everything will be fine. Long live Ukraine…” says a soldier-girl.
