We have recently hired a candidate for the managerial position. The employer did not have a high budget, so we played open cards with the candidates, informing all, at the very beginning of the recruitment process, about the maximum remuneration for this position.
The candidate we hired, agreed to participate in the recruitment, even though the proposed salary was comparable to the one received so far.
Once the decision was made, the employer offered the candidate a remuneration exceeding the budget by 15%.
Why?
✅ The company wanted to build a candidate’s motivation from the very first day of work.
✅ The appreciation of talents always pays off, although it does not always have to be a financial one.
✅ The direct supervisor plays an important role in the recruitment process, as she was the one who fought for a higher salary for a new manager.
